Firefighters are one of the main frontliners protecting our communities 24-hours a day. It is a very demanding and stressing career to say the least.
Leading these groups of highly technical individuals are individuals that provide their comprehension, skills enhancements, and practical knowledge. One of the most essential things every department should have are well-trained Fire Instructors as they help develop competent fire and emergency responders for every emergency response.
Alpha-1 Technical Training and Consulting Services recently completed the very first class of Fire and Emergency Services Instructor Course using NFPA 1041 Standards and IFSTA training manuals to meet and exceed current training levels in the Philippines.
The first Ten (10) graduates of the course represent the Rescue and Firefighting Division of Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA).
Through consistent classroom instruction and practical skills exercises and evaluation, they have developed the tools they will need to train their personnel, conduct safe operations, and protect their team and those around them. The training was spearheaded by Alpha-1’s Executive Director, Sr. Chief OLIVER C. COLEY, a U.S. and International-Level Certified Instructor holding NFPA, PRO-BOARD, IFSAC, DOD, STATE OF TEXAS, INDIANA, and ALABAMA Certifications.
Manage and assisted by our CEO / PRESIDENT / Executive Administrator Ms. Anna Liza M. Lagbas, together with our Alpha-1 Instructor Cadre who assessed and evaluated the entire team of MCIAA's Instructor In-Charge Lecture Evaluation, were Mr. Jerry Carpio Nidoy, Mr. Crisanto Gallano, Mr. Ariel Caguia and Mr. Carlo M. Lagbas.
The graduation ceremony was attended by their managers, Mr. Arthur T. Dela Rosa of Emergency and Security Services Department, and Mr. Joselito P. Espinosa of Rescue and Firefighting Division.
